Writing can be lonely business but it doesn't have to be. One of the core components of Odonata's work is building community. This online workshop class offers a safe and nurturing environment for new and aspiring writers to connect to other writers while dippng their toes a little more deeply into poetry. Prose poems, flash fiction and other short forms welcome.

Emphasis will be on workshopping participant writing. We also make time for in class writing exercises, discussion of outside poems, and collaborative writing as well, all with an eye to experimentation and fun. The class meets in the virtual Odonata "Zoom Room," using Zoom's online platform. (Requires you to have the free Zoom software downloaded.) Participants email workshop pieces directly to each other ahead of time.
